Whatever it was that had brought him here had been a cruel design. He couldn't put a finger on what it was that carried him to the Amenti border, instinct perhaps. His legs had moved without him willing them to, his mind had been devoid of all thought as to what he would do once he got here. At least he knew the reason for him ended up here, however that had been. His parents. Erebos gave a slight shudder at the thought. His parents whom he had pretended to forget, whom he had put out of his mind, whom he had left a year and a half ago, never planning to return to them.

The depression now was worse than it had ever been since he had set out on his own. It was slowly eating away at him, crushing his habits and turning them to dust, causing him to endure fits of rage at random times in the day, and forcing him to see things... Horrifying things. He was a mess. His coat was disheveled and dirty, his white bib appearing more of a tan color from the dirt that coated it. His ice blue eyes were sunken and dark, shining constantly with unshed tears. His head and tail drooped low and his feet dragged across the ground, every muscle feeling too heavy to lift. He looked to be the product of some cruel fate.

While Erebos dreaded seeing his parents again, feared that his mother's insanity would push him over the edge, deep down he knew he needed help. He needed someone who knew of his problems to help right him again, so rather than turning and running where he stood he chose to trod slowly on, waiting to encounter them in their new pack lands. He would use them for their comfort, then he would leave again. It was the best and only choice.
