eat my sand

Jynn pushed herself as fast as she could and as she saw a small flock of seagulls up ahead she steeled herself. The birds took off to the air squawking and shrieking as they took off into sky and scattered before her feet. She had to swerve a bit to avoid a particularly slow bird but after thought she sought to put on another burst of speed. Jynn was panting, surprised at how long the bridge really was but she wasn't going to give up. She knew her endurance needed work but maybe she could hold it together long enough to actually win this race and seize a victory.
