Aris vs Gossamer (yearling party race)

Gossamer was surprised and slightly dismayed to be paired against Aris for her first race. She hadn't expected to put up against one of her siblings so quickly and Aris was very small and very fast. Gossamer did have longer legs though so she wondered if that would be enough of an edge to help her win this race. Well, this wouldn't be the first time Aris cleaned her clock in a race so she'd just have to give it her best shot and maybe luck would be on her side this time. Gossamer grinned and nodded to Aris. "You bet." She looked Dagrún's mountain lion as he lifted up a paw. The paw whooshed down to signal the start of the race and Gossamer kicked off hard, seeking to stretch her front limbs out as far as she could. She wanted to use her greater height and longer stride as much as possible.
