Blue Flames and Full Moon Nights

Luckily for them both, it seemed both of them were used to wolves of similar statures, Suspense, after all, had two bigger brothers, who lived up to that title. Her own tail began to wag behind her as she approached, almost so strong that it wiggled her right off course. But she wasn't a pup anymore, so instead, it just shook her whole body with the force of the wag. Tamerlane landed on a nearby tree, croaking loudly, a warning to the bigger young man that the raven had his eyes on him and wouldn't hesitate to try and peck his eyes out if he so much as touched a hair on the tiny girl's head. Suspense for her part mostly ignored her clearly warry companion.

"Suspense Cavaliere-Klein, Tansy of Abaven!" She said in response to his introduction. He carried a pack scent, one she didn't recognize... So not Abaven, Ashen and Habari, though she had yet to meet any Habari wolves... Outside Soul but he was more former Habari than actually a member since he'd basically been raised with his cousins. Well, at least now she had a name to put to the scent, though it really didn't mean anything to the tiny girl. He asked about the blue fireflies and Suspense thought for a moment, her cheery disposition starting to fade a little as a chill went through her. Finally, she shook her head.

"Before the last few days I'd only ever seen the yellow ones." Her voice felt like it was a million miles away, something about admitting it out loud suddenly seemed to draw into focus how wrong it was. Suspense tipped her head back, dual-toned gaze following the streaks of the stars in the sky, they had illuminated her path for the past few nights... But now she realized she'd never seen stars do that before. Her smile totally dropped and a feeling of dread started creeping into the girl... Just what was happening?
