I'm Telling You, I Saw It!
Haiku

Haiku agreed to leave and Bowen didn't need to be told twice. She'd seen some unbelievable things in her time, but this was something else. Perhaps if the rabbit had seemed peaceful, the situation would have been different. As it was, she could feel the hatred pouring off of the small, luminescent creature. Haiku had asked if they'd done something wrong and the girl really wasn't sure, but it definitely felt that way.
With Haiku keeping himself between her and the rabbit, Bowen made sure that she was always touching him, whether it was with her hip or her tail. She needed to make sure that Haiku was with her as they retreated back to the castle. Thankfully, the rabbit and its shimmering firefly friends didn't seem to follow them past the edge of the garden. Why, Bowen didn't know, but she wasn't complaining.
