Tiptoe through the spookies

It seemed she had arrived in Bores just in time for spookiness. With her cousin setting up on Alias Island, and her brother running amok through the mainland, she took to having a den in the Stone Steppe as well as one on the island. She had travelled out through the mountain pass near pack-owned lands when she hit a territory that seemed a little different. The stretch of barren land seemed ominous, and even as she watched a lovely chocolate stranger stepped cautiously through it.

Ara watched her step for a few moments, and snap at a firefly, before calling out. “What are you looking out for?” she couldn’t quite put her paw on what was wrong with this territory yet.
