To Az's disappointment, Sparrow was not to be talked out of a fight. She mentioned her 'other girlfriend' and how she'd sworn vengeance on her behalf, and Azure's head tilted to the side in thought. After a moment his lips pulled back in a shit eating grin and he laughed. "Oh, the tiny one who was sneaking around my borders?" It was the only logical explanation - Sparrow's band had some form of Fireside alliance, and the male who his father fought had smelt of the pack. The not-quite-a-wolf female Az had taken down wasn't quite as skilled a combatant that the male was, but in the end the Fatalis' did win both fights. "A shame I didn't know, I would have fought harder to keep her, maybe I could have turned another one of 'your women'."

Sparrow's intention was clear, and as she finished her speech she kicked off toward him with jaws wide. Azure saw it coming from the moment she slipped into her defensive stance, side stepping to his right as she came for him. Their first fight he'd underestimated the weight she had upon him and he would not do that again - brawling with her in close quarters was not ideal.

As he'd stepped to the side he'd missed the brunt of the blow, though her chest did ram into his left shoulder. Her teeth came down upon him and with a quick arching of his neck he avoided having his muzzle contained, though her teeth did slash red rivets across his left cheek. One of her paws found it's purchase upon his own, though not the paw it was seeking. His other - the one to the direction he'd moved - rose up and with intent to slap hard across her face, hoping he could buy himself a bit of time and space to regather himself and strike more favorably.
