Pepper. Irin's ears twitched and she inclined her head slightly in the direction of the other, her tail flicking slightly. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Pepper." She tested out the name on her tongue, her tail still waving contentedly in the air behind her. Irin was happy here. It was strange. She hadn't been unhappy before, but having a home made things different. Even if it was a little different from her old pack. Still, she would be happy. Isardis seemed nice, and so did her fellow packmates. When the second wolf arrived, Irin had opened her maw to introduce herself when Pepper stepped in. Irin shot the female a grateful look, though she wasn't sure if Pepper picked up on it. The introductions were made, and Pepper spoke of offering to share her kill. Again, Irin's stomach rumbled loudly, reminding her (again) that she was ravenous. Still, she hesitated for a moment, glancing in the direction of the other wolves. They were both older than Irin, as far as she could tell, but that was understandable. Irin was barely a year and a half, probably one of the youngest wolves in this pack. They could easily shred her ears, and drive her off before she had managed to get a bite in. That thought dissolved her reluctance and Irin padded forward, burying her muzzle in the elk as quickly as she could. Still, her ears were pricked in the direction of the other wolves, keeping track of their movements as well as she could. "speech" |
