He'd only really fought against his sister before, and truthfully he hadn't gone all out, not wanting to hurt her. Bronze mirrored her movements as best as he could - he realized all at once that he was visibly younger than most of the wolves here, but he liked to think his personality made him seem a bit older. Either way it wasn't time to back out now, and he squared his shoulders and tucked his tail as she charged at him.

His honest instinct was to flinch away from her. He imagined her not adjusting for his movement and crashing hard into the ground. He wasn't sure that was how things would unfold though. Wrinkling his nose, he braced himself instead for attack, expecting the way her jaws clamped down on his left leg - but not the claws on his belly. He tried to adjust himself away, twisting his hindquarters around to the left with an awkward hop in an attempt to make it harder for her to get at his stomach. He was a little taller than her so he tried using that to his advantage, lunging forward slightly further into her grip and making an attempt to grab hard onto her scruff and give his head a hard shake.
