Nighttime in the north often had an eerie sort of vibe to it, but tonight made him feel especially uneasy. The moon often had a blue glow to it, at least a real faint one, but tonight it cast shades of pale purple down on the fresh snow. At first he thought his eyes might just be playing tricks on him, but it quickly became apparent he wasn't seeing things at all. Even the moon was bigger than usual, at least he was pretty sure. Maybe he shouldn't have wandered so far from home just to explore it, but as he slowly crept toward being a yearling he was growing more and more independent. Often when he had trouble sleeping he found himself heading south, drawn to the Wall time and time again.

He took his familiar route over and across it, something he had ingrained in memory now since his first trip here when he'd been at a loss as how to traverse it. Once he reached the bottom he set out walking, the moon casting strange shadows down on the snow-touched ground, the wall seeming to extend for eternity past him. Only when a scent touched his nose did he slow his pace, ever-cautious around strangers. But wait - this was no stranger. After a brief pause he picked up his pace again, knowing he wasn't mistaken in who he thought was nearby. Bronze wondered why he'd come all this way again, especially on a night like this. He thought he saw a flicker of blue and purple light, just inches from his nose, but when he skidded to a halt it disappeared. "Horns? That you?" A little shiver crawled down his spine as he called out, hoping he was the only one around to hear. This night gave him a weird feeling and he didn't really want to attract the attention of anyone else.
