Of course the Spirit was not fooled by his attempt to keep from showing the fatigue weighing down on every fiber of his being and the man gave Aurielle a nod as she commanded him to get some rest after they had spoken. Honestly, he probably would not even make it back to his den and would probably curl up next to the unbuilt wall of the tower once the woman left. But it seemed like he was not the only one to find the changes of the environment disturbing. He saw that tiredness also pulled that the corners of the Spirit's eyes and said she would probably take some herbs to help her sleep. Perhaps, if he was still unable to sleep soundly come morning, the brute would go in search of one of the healers in the pack for a sleeping herb. But that was a problem for another time and Drachen waited patiently for Aurielle to speak.
Again his dark face nodded one as she rightfully assumed that he had not missed the strange occurrences in the night and his lips pressed together as she asked him what he thought about it. He did not speak right away as his tired brain worked through everything, remembering every single detail so that he did not miss something important. "The strange glowing phenomenon is not just happening here in and around Valhalla. Further than even the Illusion Oasis from which i just visited. While there, I met a healer from Ashen, Hattori Kiyo..." he started, remembering the woman's name and pack without trouble as he had burned it into his memory, along with Ashen's pack scent. He paused for a moment to see if the name caused some sort of reaction out of Aurielle before continuing "She said she came form the east and even there, this strangeness was occurring same as it is here. She also had no idea what would cause the plants and animals to glow suddenly." Drachen frowned at the memory, not directed at Kiyo but at the fact that more than one native to Boreas had never experienced it before.
"As for someone who has studied the stars, I have no explanation as to why their light has seemed to be lengthened nor to why the moon has stopped in its phase." His oceanic eyes closed for a moment as once again he tried to think of some explanation that could cause such a thing but nothing that his navigation teachers in his birth pack had ever recorded such a phenomenon. It was unsettling and the black and tan male fell silent again and turned his blue gaze to the night sky, his hackles rising along the back of his neck. He felt like something was going to happen, something danced in the air just out of sight, teasing and taunting him just like the small blue glowing orbs that winked in and out of existence. Several clouded breaths later he returned his gaze to Aurielle and his husked tones spoke once more "Whatever this is... it must be caused by the Gods. I recommend that we be on high alert for whatever unknown comes next." His face grim but determined, he had no idea how they would prepare for something like this, something unknown, but he had face Aurielle would lead them through it and they would survive.
