Pity Party (Party and Races!)

Dagrún bounced over to Skadi as they were paired up for a race. "Hey Skadi, you ready?" She grinned, and bounded over to the starting line where she fell into her ready position, eager for the race to start. Skadi was smaller and faster but Dag felt she had more stamina so maybe she could pull a win out of this race. As soon as the signal was given she raced forward, scrambling over a mess of roots then veering a little left before correcting her direction and rocketing directly down the course. She was eager to show what she could do and hoped she'd surprise everyone, especially Skadi, by being the fastest.
