Hattori watched her in silence, the silver of his gaze cold yet curious, wondering how she felt about this. It was hard to say whether she was trustworthy, as he had no idea how things had transpired back in Iga, but for the time being he would remain watchful and vigilant. As if he never was. Perhaps this spar would serve as a silent and unsaid warning, that if she tried anything untoward he'd be more than willing to put an end to it. Though from what he recalled there was nothing overly suspicious about her, there were worse wolves to bring into Ashen's fold, of that Hattori was certain.


Hattori turned on the spot, quick to match her movements as she attempted to circle behind him. He understood the thought behind the tactic, but for every few steps it took for her to get into position Hattori could do it in one. Slapping her attempt at grappling him down aside with a swipe of his own taloned paws, Hattori lunged for her throat, intending to grab a hold of the fur hanging loose. He would not harm her, not truly, but she'd left herself open. He'd be a fool not to take the opportunity.
