Hattori would have been a liar if he claimed to have not seen her response coming. She was talented enough for sure, good enough to beat his son, but Hattori had seen it all before. Making her a little predictable. Upon seeing her reach out to make a slash for his muzzle, Hattori dipped his head, seamlessly dodging her attack as he allowed his horns to thrust forward. Just as before he aimed right for the spot he'd intended to bite at with his teeth. He saw no reason to back away and to give her more room to work with would be to his detriment. They needed to keep this short and sweet, before anyone really got hurt.  

Either way, his opponent showed promise and would do well to settle into Ashen's ranks.
