Bluelights [Hudson]

Hudson was having a midnight drink, observing the strange world with naïve eyes. Why had he seen a purple vole? And a blue deer? He was sure his vision was failing - his mother did always say his green eyes were not as reliable - and he wondered if he should find a healer. He wandered the grasses, absolutely bewildered. The blues and purples were beautiful, though. Not the worst way for your vision to go out.
He let out a big yawn and gripped the ground for a huge stretch, and when he straightened back out he was surprised to see Legacy, covered in pelts and pouches, just a few good gallops away. Because of her unique markings, he could probably tell it was her even if she was all covered up except for half her face. His tail gave a gentle swoosh as he called out. "Legacy, is that you?" He said, even though he knew.
