Azure's night time patrol had taken him through the tall grasses and toward the beach, he'd soon have completed his route and be able to head home for a much needed rest before morning. Hanako was needier then normal in her pregnancy, and Az was finding it quite a struggle to keep up with the otherworldly nights they'd been plagued with (weird), his new position as co-alpha (extra weird) and on top of it all, new children who were growing within his fiance (the weirdest of all) Thankfully it all made him busy enough that there was little time to dwell on all the weirdness, for he assumed if he sat too long considering how his life was changing he might do something drastic and painful.

A startled flurry of pawsteps caught his ear and Azure's trot quickened to a sprint as he moved down through the cypress trees toward the shore. The glowing blue fireflies had become more normal to him somehow, and he weaved through the clusters of bugs without a second glance toward the distressed wolf. Lightning bugs were the first thing he noticed, bobbing and swerving through the air seemingly as frantic as the wolf whom they circled. Azure's pawsteps slowed, recognizing both why the wolf was panicked and that the bugs posed no danger. To the dark man in the distance he yelled, "Don't move! They bite!" Trying to infuse as much worry into his voice as he could manage.

OOC: At his distance / in the dark / unknowing Magnus is back, Az doesn't currently know who he is. When he gets closer he will clue in.
