She assumed her partial agreements were not completely what Deteste was looking for, but it was the best she could offer. If he rejected her she supposed she would have to find another willing male, a feat that she did not think would be all that difficult. Nonetheless his statement that he would love them was what she took for acceptance of this fact. ?I do not doubt it,? she said, wondering if these were the last of his requests. Deteste would speak again, however, and this one she found somewhat more difficult to agree with. She could understand, but that didn?t make it any easier to agree to. ?I made a promise to Laxago that I do not intend to break, but I will not seek other men after today. I will be certain to keep Jupiter busy,? she chuckled, completely open about her plans.
Distance started to closer, and Medusa was starting to lose control.
