Round 2 Yearling Race - Kaija vs Askell

It was time for another race and Kaija was pumped. Part of her had been surprised that she'd won her last race against the pretty girl with the fur that looked like fire itself, but then again she was pretty strong so it made sense that she'd done well. She'd spent so much time traveling on her own and keeping herself in shape just from surviving and traveling so far and so often. Hopefully she did just as well on her second race!

She cast her opponent a grin as they geared up to start. She was tired from the previous race but hoped her opponent was too. "Ready, set... go!" With an enthusiastic bark she kicked off, pushing hard toward their goal. The wind was whipping hard against her face and making her eyes water already but she was determined to keep in the lead as long as she could.
