ooc: it occurs to me neither of us need nav points, do you wanna just do 1 round?
Lukina smiled at Ardyn. "Looks like Dagrún's cougar is gonna call it." She grinned and gestured to the mountain lion resting on a nearby rock next to the starting lion. It looked up at them, blinking slowly before nodding at her. Taking the cue she prepped herself. The minute the mountain lion called the start she let out a cheer and bounded forward through the sand. Her claws unsheathed to give her a bit more traction in the soft sand but when she hit a harder spot full of rocks and gravel she quickly retracted them so as not to damage the sharpness. Maybe it would be fine to run with her claws out through such material but she wasn't sure so she just continued on in this way.
