The girl practically flung herself at him to huddle close and nearly sent Fidelias crawling out of his skin at the sudden close proximity. He had to set his jaw as he shuddered, to force himself not to jerk away, and instead slowly eased away a step. "Bones?" he asked, finally registering what she'd said. "Were they fresh bones, or old bones?" If they were fresh, and the fireflies were going there and she'd followed them, maybe they ate flesh? Some butterflies would eat things like that, he'd noticed. Maybe these new fireflies were omnivorous as well. His brow did furrow though, at her semi-hysterical words about thinking the fireflies were her friends and following them, and he gave her a sidelong glance, not meeting her gaze but in her general direction. She seemed like she was at least close to the same age he was, and while he knew he wasn't really... normal, compared to the other young wolves in Valhalla, he thought that she was perhaps a bit odd. Compared to them, that is. He looked back towards the crypt she'd said the fireflies had led her to, and sure enough they were dancing around the entrance again. That bat was in there too, and he wanted to investigate the room with the bones to see if the fireflies really were omnivorous, but the girl seemed pretty shaken up for some reason and he didn't know what to do with her. "Listen," he said awkwardly, "I'm going to go check it out and see what they're doing in there. Do you want to stay here?" If she thought the fireflies were her friends, maybe she'd be more comfortable staying out here with them so he could see what the ones in the crypt were doing.
