He gave a little snort of laughter when the stranger gave a shake of her coat, clearly attempting to get rid of the bugs seemingly stuck to her, and offered to share some of them with her. "Hm, I can't say that I'm really looking for any glowing friends, but thanks for the offer." He took a couple steps back from the cloud of bugs that lingered away from her while some went right back to lingering on her fur. He gave her a nod when she asked if these weird things were happening everywhere. "Indeed it is. I've been down in Auster recently and have traveled a bit through the west and now into the east and everywhere is crawling with weird, glowing things." He had been on a lot of travels in his life and never before had he seen anything like this before.

"I think you might need a new host for your little buddies," he suggested, quickly followed up with, "A host that is not me." He chuckled softly, lifting a paw to swat at one of the bugs that tried to come near him. He looked around the willow trees with a hum. "I wonder if it has to be an animal for them to sit on or if you rubbed along some of these long branches if they'd sit in the tree."
