He was surprised by the one who came out from the darkness. The strange hairless dog he had seen at Sparrow's party. He didn't know his name, but he recognized him nonetheless. How could he not? He was the only hairless creature he had ever seen in his life! "No, I haven't." He responded as he watched the dog reach out for a firefly only for it to buzz away from him. "I remember seeing you before, at Sparrow's party. Fun night, eh?" He chuckled as he returned his attention to the cave. Everything was glowing, from the bugs to the mushroom, to bits of the moss, and almost everything in between. He had been in somewhat better spirits lately. Perhaps it was because he let the weight of a dead pack go, but he planned on picking leadership up again in the future. He just needed a break. A handful of fireflies flew over to them, buzzing around hairless dog and him. He wasn't sure what the deal was with them, but they were fascinating to watch. "You think they're poisonous?" He asked, half tempted to snack on one just to find out. He wasn't sure he wanted to risk it though, so instead he turned his attention to the mushrooms that were growing in the rocks beside him and poked at one, watching it bounce back with a brighter glow. |
