She moved on from the Moontouched Cliffs, wary of remaining too close to the fall that could easily end her life. While she was normally quite sure of her footing, the fact that night had claimed the world startled her and made her unwilling to get too close, despite her generous curiosity at the glow.

Today, she found herself standing before a series of glowing moon-pools.

Mushrooms popped up along the edges of the water, glowing vibrantly against the darkness. Even in the water, she could see swirling dots of blue and green, dancing along with the ripples of the spring. She was uncertain - this place had an odd odor that warned her not to attempt to drink. Still... her curiosity was piqued and she stepped forward cautiously, ears pricking and twisting for anyone who might be coming up behind her.

Her eyes set on the pool of water, a patch of fungus also before her and to her right.

Her gaze was drawn to the shrooms thoughtfully and she stood still, watching as the glow grew and dimmed. Realization dawned slowly and grew in intensity as her heart began to beat faster, the mushrooms somehow keeping up with the thumping she could hear in her ears. Her eyes narrowed and she twisted her head, inspecting the fungi from a slightly different angle for a moment before her eyes set upon the pool once more.

She leaned down to sniff at the water, nose pinching at the stench of sulfur.
