Theron shifted away from the man's touch, an irritated growl rising from his throat. "Maybe you should follow my example." 'and be quiet' was omitted from his sentence, but still heavily implied. He didn't want or need Azure's comments, they just made compliance harder. Every command spawned the visceral urge to do the opposite if for no other reason than to piss the alpha off, yet knowing he couldn't just made the feeling ferment in his gut.

The sound of pawsteps brought his attention up from his meal, glancing up to see another approaching. The family resemblance was evident. Large, saber fangs, the claw-like markings over their eyes. Theron had no doubts this was the wolf Azure wanted him to meet. Again, he had to swallow down more jeers and retorts as Azure spoke. Not quite thrilled was the understatement of the year and he was NOT being domesticated! His lips twitched as they threatened to pull into a snarl, but he managed to control himself. Making a scene would not be worth the starvation that followed if Azure kept true to his warning.

Theron gave a brief bow of his head and a "hello" as he was prompted, but not much else. If they were anticipating a whole song and dance from him, they should have dragged someone else out of the swamp.
