Standing at the Edge of the World
Had he gotten sidetracked after Manea's loss? Perhaps. There were plenty of interesting things to do in the north, and chief among them was hunting the strange little animals that had taken to glowing or growing brightly coloured fur. So when the sonorous symphony of his cousins' voices rang out, they were certainly further away than he anticipated. Dragging himself away from the cheap entertainment of harassing the local wildlife, the beast made off towards the source of the summons at a steady lope. Long legs ate away the ground beneath him, the rhythmic thudding of heavy paws announcing his presence to anything with ears as he rushed for the eastern coast of Boreas. He was grateful for the low tide, revealing the land bridge that still smelled faintly of Mendacium wolves. He wasn't in the mood for a dip in these chilly waters. The blue moonlight shone against the lighter portions of his coat, dove grey turning to stunning sapphire with each ripple of the muscles beneath. As he approached the group that had already gathered, an unfamiliar face from the challenge lingered near Alastor. Keen whiskey eyes found themselves fixed upon her features, taking note of the small patch of shining scales upon her crown. Not unlike little Avacyn, though the petite fae's scales seemed to serve an aesthetic purpose with their placement. Snorting dismissively through his nostrils, he plodded up to his sister and cousin, the two of them pressed tightly together in an affectionate gesture that he acknowledged with a pointed look between the pair. "I hope your recovery has been peaceful, Manea." he rumbled, dropping onto his belly in a lazy sprawl a few feet away. He wanted to be able to see everyone, watch the arrival of any others. He wondered if that stoic cousin from the challenge would join them, Imperia. She had been fun, despite the pointed apathy she readily displayed. Turning his hips so he could splay his thick hind limbs outward, he tucked one paw loosely against his chest while he settled in for whatever was yet to come. SPEECH || actions || OTHERS |
