It seemed the strange events were only going to get worse from here on out as the moon still refused to change its shape as normal and now the stars stretched from one side of the horizon to the other. Perhaps due to her young age, she would not have been so bothered by it but the way the older wolves acted, nearly flinching at every gentle breeze or odd sound... Laoise was thoroughly concerned. She hated to see the way that Mother always seemed restless now, the corner of her eyes drawn and fatigued. It caused a deep pain in Lee's heart every time she saw Aurielle. So Lee tried to keep a low profile and stay out of trouble as much as she could so that she did not cause Mother more trouble than the Spirit already had so Lee spent most of her time now, trying to gather and salvage any herbs that had somehow manage to survive.
The evening was beginning to take over the sky, not that it took much now a days with the strange blue cast the daylight now had, as Lee made her way to one of the various creeks that ran through the plains. Her dark paws crunched softly on the snow laden grass, her blue eyes scanned the landscape that flittered with numerous blue fireflies. She thought that they were almost cute with how they danced about, some even bobbing close enough to touch if she was brave enough to reach out. So engrossed with the fireflies, Lee almost missed the soft blue light coming off the ground in front of her until the sound of trickling water caught her attention and she looked down. A soft gasp left her parted lips as she stared down at the once clear creek that now swirled and glowed with bioluminescent bacteria and what looked like algae. Things that glowed did not bother her, her own mother and brother had a glow to them, but this was new. What if this was toxic and it was beginning to poison the packs water supply? "Caithfidh mé a rá le mamaí." She said out look and then look around her trying to see if she spotted someone nearby.
