Dagrun seemed to agree with his idea of breaking the thing open, but wasn't quite sure how. He watched as she tapped it with a claw, determining it was much harder then a crystal of ice might be. "I have an idea!" He announced, reaching forward to tentatively grasp it between his teeth. Once it was steady in his jaws he moved toward the nearest tree, utilizing his cat paws to scurry up the bark (and banging the crystal lightly upon the trunk a few times as his head moved with his body) until he'd made it to a thick, high up branch. "OK, step back a bit Dag, I don't want it to cut you if it breaks into a million pieces." The words were garbled and maybe not intelligible, so he made a 'shoo' motion with his paw just to hammer the point home.

Warning delivered, Tyrfing scooted across the branch and held on tight, leaning his head over atop the ground far below and with hard thrust of his muzzle, chucked the thing down to the earth in hopes it would break open on impact.
