As if the state of the world wasn't enough, Hattori had caught the scent of some predators hanging around near Ashen. Not close enough to warrant an outright emergency, but still it was something the Shogun couldn't simply ignore. Setting out into the wilderness, Hattori soon picked up the trail of a cougar and found it down by the river. It was distracted, seemingly on edge as it glanced up at the treeline. It was then Hattori saw a flash of pink amongst the branches, Yaeume.

No doubt she was preparing to fight the beast. Hattori would lend her a paw and drive this beast back, or kill it. Whatever had to be done. Stepping out into the open the cat whipped its head around as it noticed the Shogun. Giving the Genin the opening she needed to pounce.
