The silence seems oppressive, almost louder somehow than even the voice you had heard. It feels oppressive and you spot something near the top of the mountain, a figure against the streaked sky. A scentless wolf, familiar and yet wrong, stares at you in the distance before turning and disappearing below the horizon... Right into the mouth of the volcano...
Maybe you shouldn't have done that...
