Daphne’s gaze fell to the pile of crystals before the other wolf, shuddering a little at the way they seemed to be alive. She even bristled at the jab about her mother. The other wolf had a nose, of course she could tell she was alone… but then she saw the smirk and released a huff of air instead of the snarl that had wanted to build. "I mean they’re just rocks right? But what about the mushrooms? Can they be eaten? Are they poisonous? Do they have healing properties? I want to know!" She almost stamped her foot in frustration. Was there any safe way to tell? Or would she just have to take one between her jaws and bite down herself?
