Doubtful Teenagers

Shuriken was of the same mind as her cousin as she woke that morning. The snow didn’t bother her near as much as her mother but she still liked to have a cloak about her on the coldest days. Today wasn’t terrible, especially as she was hunting. Ike lowered herself to a crouch as she found the trail of a deer. Even mor interesting was catching Malachai out of the corner of her eye. The girl followed him, careful not to let her feet get the better of her and spook their prey.

She was quiet, but not yet completely silent, and she used the sound of her paws to alert Chai of her presence. He couldn’t take the best on his own and she couldn’t either so as she slid up beside him it seemed like they were given a perfect opportunity Ike tilted her head and gestured softly. He had more experience than she did, and far more control over his paws, so she’d follow his lead.
