She was the last of the family to be born, but that didn't mean that she would be loved any less than her other siblings. Or at least that was what her parents would've told her if she had been capable of comprehending anything. For the time being, she was simply a tiny new born in a giant world that she would one day soon come to be a apart of. Her tiny form wriggled beside her mother's, her lungs taking in their first taste of air only to expel a pitiful cry as she tried to instinctively find the safety of her mother's belly. She didn't have to try very hard, Song reached out to nuzzling the tiny whelp towards her belly. Lakota, as she'd been dubbed, was quick to latch on to the closest teat, suckling it hungrily, the warm milk doing her tiny belly good. Only when she'd had her fill did she release her mother's teat, content to dose in the warmth that was her mother and fellow siblings. Talk like this |
