She wasn't sure how it'd been possible in her older age, but she had become pregnant from her one-night stand with the male from Fireside. She'd been feeling sick during her pregnancy, and she had mostly kept to herself especially with all the weird things happening to the others. While some of the members of Aerie seemed to be struck with some sort of illness, she had been cautious and made sure to keep her distance so she wouldn't catch whatever they had. She was outside of the territory for a little while to find herself something to eat, but every creature she saw was glowing in some variation or another, and despite her reluctance to want to eat any of them, her growing hunger and the hunger pangs forced her to hunt one of them so she could eat. She had managed to catch herself a young Spring fawn whose eyes were glowing green and the spots on its back had also been glowing the same color before she took it down. Even now, however, as she dragged it back to her den to eat, the glowing spots still remained, though the light had died from its eyes. She was skeptical about eating it, but hunger drove her to start tearing it apart almost as soon as she returned to her den. The meat tasted fine...but she had no idea if this young creature would have any effects on her later, though she certainly hoped not.

She had eaten a good portion of the fawn, and as she settled down to clean herself, she couldn't help but look at the various crystals and mushrooms that had been growing all over the place. Mist and fog had settled all over the lands it seemed, and she hadn't been able to quite find an area that had none. Even in front of her den, giant crystals grew all around the mouth as well as on top of the rocks that made up the entrance to it. Mist clung stubbornly to the ground, even going as far as seeping into the threshold of her den which unnerved her, but it didn't go any further than a few feet at least. She wasn't sure what to make of it all. She'd never seen anything like what all was going on the past season, and it seemed to be continuing on into Spring.

When she finished cleaning herself, she stood so she could go on a quick patrol, but as soon as she did she felt a pain in her abdomen. Wincing, she lowered herself back to the ground and realized that she was starting to go into labor. The cramping was slow at first, but it had quickly started to progress and she was sure the pups were wanting to come out. Now. It was a little more painful than her first litter, and she wasn't sure if this was normal, or if her anxiety about all the stuff going on in the world was making things worse.

She was only a few feet from her den, so she crawled her way to it and howled for a healer before slipping inside. To her surprise, there were crystals growing along one side of the wall, a couple almost as tall as her while others were smaller. She was hesitant to go near them, but the pain from her laboring forced her to move closer to where she had planned on having her pups. She remained in the main chamber which she had made large enough for maybe one or two others to fit, and enough room for her to lay down with her new pups.

She lay on her side, trying to keep her breathing steady as she waited and hoped for a healer to arrive. She had yet to really meet anyone or introduce herself to anyone other than Eligos due to the current circumstances, but she hoped to whatever Gods there were that the healer was unaffected and available to help her. She whined and groaned as her body started to push. Panic started to tug at her, and she howled again in desperation as she once again, called for the healer with more urgency.

Squeezing her eyes shut, she couldn't stop her body from pushing and after a good few moments, the first pup started to emerge. She yelped with the pain of it. But as soon as the pup slid out, she forced herself through the pain so she could clean it off. Molten gaze looked over the inky black pup. A girl (Tien). And her tail tapped the ground in happiness a bit after she checked her over and made sure she was fine before nudging her to her stomach.

Another pang hit her, and she felt like she needed to push again. She whined out of frustration, her body starting to shake from the effort already. She couldn't recall feeling like this the first time she had pups, but she was older now...and she was unsure if her body was handling it well, or if she was overthinking things. She braced herself as the urge to push more overtook her, and she screwed her eyes shut as the second pup started to come. Though she didn't want to continue without a healer present, her instincts to push would overtake her. Grunting, her body contracted and the second pup emerged.

This one appeared to be a boy, his fur almost as dark as the first but she could see a blue tint to it, but she wasn't sure. The blue glow from the crystals made it a bit difficult to tell, but his head and tail were lighter than the rest of him (Ravage). She reached for him to clean him off, though when she did so, she scratched her cheek on a crystal that she had gotten a little too close to. She winced but ignored the new throbbing pain as she cleaned off her newest pup before nudging him to her belly with his sister.

Leaning back to try and rest for a moment now that her body seemed to calm a bit, she hoped the healer would arrive soon to help her...
