Avantika got the odd feeling that she was being examined as the wolf looked at her. She hoped that she measured up, although she couldn't tell what was happening in the woman's brain. She took a quick moment to scan her herself. She was short and slim, much more so than Avantika. Could be a fighter, but probably not. She could wrestle her over in a pretty short time, although her build suggested speed and agility, so she'd have to catch her first. Avantika wondered what it would be like to spar her. That was why she had to keep fighting as many different kinds of wolves as possible, so she knew how to handle all of them.

Her name was Laeta. "Avantika. When did you join the Hallows?" They hadn't met before, so Avantika hoped she hadn't been there too long. She patrolled and hung out by herself a lot, but not that much!
