queen of hearts every time

Siren wasn’t allowed to get comfortable where she draped herself over him. Chimera shifted, moving her tiny form with ease as she sunk her into the bed with him. The King pulled her against his chest and into his embrace. He echoed her sentiment, he had missed her too. They both knew where his time was spent, poor Aliana had turned into a rough shell of the woman she had been.
Chimera asked after her and their children. Though Siren barely gave the thought a second to manifest the deception still drove a stake through her heart as he asked about their monsters. The children were growing like weeds despite the illness that took them along with the land. "They haven’t been spared from the curse of darkness,” Siren told him worriedly. "Despite what they’re going through they are all doing well.” Not much slowed those three puppies down.
As if she said nothing, and what she really wanted, Chimera squeezed her lightly and lowered his lips to hers. She let herself get lost in his affection, something once unknown to her. She cared about him, she loved him, Siren adored him and what he had become. For her. Their relationship had its mountains and valleys, but they always returned to one another even if another warmed their bed at night.
She would have lost herself then, but Chimera pulled away just enough to speak to her, mentioning he had something they needed to talk about. Siren snuggled into his fur, a soft humm on her lips as her dual toned eyes met his. "Oh?” She prompted him softly before peppering little kisses along his chin.
