There was a lot going on, too much really with so many dangers lurking outside. But even then Hanako knew it was time, saw her children were getting antsy and restless, that it just wouldn't do to keep them holed up any longer.

Even at such a young and tender age they were already so different from one another, not just in looks but in personality. As was befitting of the first born-or so Hanako thought- Basilisk was already looming tall over all of his other siblings, making even his twin sister Calypso look small in comparison. Makara as the palest of the bunch was the only one who inherited Hanako's albinism, which made her a little sad but...Oh well! All of her daughters were beautiful, certainly Morgawr with her striking combination of colours. And then there was Leviathan, far too small and runty for his name. He was doing better for sure, not as sick and as lethargic as he used to be but it was clear by now he would always be small. Perhaps the smallest of their whole bloodline. A fact she knew Azure wouldn't approve of, at all.

Ah well, that just meant she had to love him even more! And nag Azure till he saw some sense... Shooting said man a side glance, Hanako figured no time was like the present, that they had lots of things to see and family to meet. Standing at the lip of the den, still tired in a bone aching sort of way, Hanako softly called to her children. Better get this show on the road.
