THESE SCARS ARE ANOTHER LESSON LEARNED

A singular brow quirked upon her forehead as the ice queen observed her daughter?s timid flinch, allowing her skull to shake side to side to display her disdain towards the child?s actions. Of course, such behavior was expected due to the child?s inexperience, but the serpentine wench had never developed a patient bone in her body and was growing frustrated with her daughter?s lack of immaculate poise and apathetic mannerisms. As far as the sovereign was concerned, neither of her children had quite yet blossomed into a potential superior figure, but with her consistent and excessive training, hopefully she could morph them according to her selfish desires; so long as they complied with her teachings.
A frown caressed her pallid countenance as her pupils witnessed the hesitant nod extracted from her daughter in response to her words, a prolonged moment of silence embracing the duo as she contemplated how to encourage the child. Metallic gaze never once strayed from the mismatched of the babe?s that had been averted from her own, searching the child?s facial features for future and hopefully more enthusiastic signs or vocals, receiving none. Deciding upon the correct method to receive exactly what she desired from the child, she tore her gaze away from the girl?s, a feigned sob vacating her slackened jaws as she pivoted away from the babe. ?Don?t tell me you don?t want to become a queen,? the manipulative wench practically shrieked, her speech sounding more inquisitive than a statement should. To better convince the child that her lack of enthusiasm was distressful, she allowed her skull to hang limp with defeat, the entirety of her regal posture deteriorating into something sad and foreign to the child with the hopes of insinuating a surge of remorse within the child for ever displeasing the woman that had birthed her.
