Yeah...she was mad. But it wasn't abandonment, like he was never gonna come back. Cause he was, he said as much. What was wrong with wanting some space to breathe? Instead of backing off as he probably ought to, he doubled down and pressed his case. Speaking as calmly as he could manage, cause duh he wasn't gonna yell at his Mother, an Empress.
