Azure

Azure needed a distraction, anything to take away from his current suffering and meltdown that was beginning deep in his mind. The paranoia, the fear, the dripping mucus and pockets of infection that grew beneath his skin. Poor Bean had spent as much time on his paws as his master had, dabbing the ooze from his face and helping to keep his broken blisters from infection. Azure often felt that he was dying, that everyone was dying, and there was that paranoia in the back of his mind that it was all his fault - after all, this all started after he'd attacked the firefly figure.

He tilted his head back and called for an opponent for a spar. It was not something sane-Azure would do, not when he knew he was not fighting fit and that as Alpha, he couldn't risk a weak and low ranked subordinate beating him and holding it over his head. A loss would lose Azure precious respect, but for the moment all he could think was to bloody something to try and forget what he had done to the world.
