Belladonna refused to let herself leave her den. Her body and mind screamed at her to go search for something, anything, rotten to eat. The mushrooms attached to her face were talking to her, she knew it. The ooze that drained from her everything was ignored mostly at this point, the mushrooms painful but she lived for the throbbing she felt. If it wasn't for the throbbing, she wouldn't know she was still alive and not just a vessel for these fungi to grow and spread. Not that it wasn't still possible. The girls dreams had been filled with visions of growing into the walls or floor of her den each time she slept, causing her little to no sleep at all. Instead, the girl paced stiffly from wall to wall in her den, forcibly dragging herself away from the door each time she neared close.
