Spirits returning home

Siren hadn’t looked all that old when he met her recently though she had been very young when they first met. Sirius was old, he was, Naiche wasn’t sure how old Sirius was actually. Naiche was staring at Sirius deciding if the wolf was being honest we said five years. What had his son grown into in that time if so? Naiche hadn’t expected to be pulled into an embrace but he certainly found himself in one. It was a strange feeling. Naiche smiled faintly into the black wolf’s fur, snorting as the tease was made clear. So all of the changes were truly made in just a period of one season. Naiche really had died too early but all it took was the memory of his last day to know if repeated he would have done the same thing. A poor time to die but no better reason. After a few seconds he would gently pull away, it would be odd having a conversation while being embraced. “More grandkids? Congratulations.”It was a sincere statement even if simple. He almost asked who they were from but then decided to skip the details unless Sirius chose to present them, “They need to see the light, as does my son. I’ll head to the cave where I met that strange individual. The dead shouldn’t try to play alive and join up with packs and make future goals but, no reason I can’t go for the long odds and see if that man still lives in the cave and if he has an answer.” Last time the creature had wanted a gift to allow Naiche to leave, if the being could do anything about this crisis what would it want? Naiche had nothing to give but his spirit. He could do that if it helped all the future generations. “Do you have any hints learned so far to go off of?” It was definitely Naiche, all work. The tan wolf seemed to think of that himself a moment later, flicking a ghost of a smile at Sirius, “Not to say hi and bye right away. It is good to see you.” In death, in somnium, Naiche had been at peace with no sense of responsibilities but now, even if he was dead he felt them again. So long as he could roam the land there was no real piece that came with death. "Naiche"
