Normally Jupiter would have been happy to stop and talk to his uncle but these weren't normal times. Last time he'd spied Alarr from across the way the younger man had been riddled with mushrooms, so this time when his uncle's voice reached his ears Jupiter stiffened. He turned around slowly, his movements furtive, and yep, as he'd feared, Alarr was still a fungus factory...albeit a less productive one.

Jupiter's eyes were immediately drawn to the fungi growing out if Alarr's ear and even though he tried not to stare his gaze kept getting drug back up to the patch. Honestly were it not for their shared history he'd have just run for the hills, but this was Alarr so Jupiter was going to be civil up until Alarr tried to touch him or something. Then he'd run. "Nah, I've been lucky so far minus that little heartbeat/mushroom incident." Those little guys definitely weren't propped up in his hideout, or anything... "What about you? Looks like you're doing better."
