It was a pleasant surprise to see Eraithus entering her den and the woman couldn't help the soft smile that played across her lips even as she was tired and weak. His gaze moved on to her children and it warmed her to see him approach them so gently. It would have been hard to miss his fondness for her and she had no doubts that he had machinations of his own for his relationship to her but she was glad to see he carried no jealousy for her own children, no resentment. A lesser man would have seen them as a threat.

Her attention turned towards her cousin though and she nodded, accepting the herbs that were presented towards her and laped them up. She swallowed with a little difficulty but once her throat was clear she gave the young woman a nod. "Thank you Voodoo." She gave the girl a warm look. "I know this must be stressful on you all, not sure anything will cure this. "

She glanced over at the sleeping pile of puppies. "I worry mostly for them." She felt her heart ache a little. "They all seem so strong but I know they're even less prepared physically than I am. Ichor especially worries me. He eats fine and doesn't seem to be weakening but he's just so small." Her voice wavered and she was struggling to fight off the fatigue that rolled over her, she was just so tired.
