With a soft yelp of surprise, Ara had no time to comment. The raccoon was upon them, and Ara swung with all her might. Hitting the raccoon straight on the face in a once in a lifetime shot. It caught air with a terrible shriek as it was flung away from the trio.

With a cry of delight Ara watched it streak through the air, prepared to go for round two if it came at pup and yearling again.
