It wasn’t rare for Théa’s curiosity to get her in some difficult situations, but she’d really done it this time. Initially, when she’d ventured into the briar, she had thought that it wouldn’t be as bad. With her small form it wasn’t hard for her to slip beneath the thorny vines and make her way in deeper and deeper, but, eventually, to her dismay, she looked around herself and realized that she was encompassed by them. They pulled at her soft fur, tugging it out in tufts, and as she struggled to get out she felt one dig into her armpit, the warm wetness of blood flowing down the green gradient of her leg and splashing on the gambit floor. The woman groaned, Bijou chittering anxiously as his tiny body, safe from the majority of the briars, tried to see if she could gnaw through the vines. “Oh, merde,” she sighed. How was she going to get herself out of this one?
