The return of the sun and the subsequent end of the disease that had ravaged the world had brought relief to Valhalla, and to Red who's mate and children had been sick and at risk. It had come too late for a couple of the pack members, though, and even with the relieved celebrations they quietly grieved their losses. Red knew it was particularly hard on Justice's boy, who had a difficult time associating with the pack without his mother's steadying presence. As for Red, with his family's recovery he was finally able to focus on more than the soul-numbing fears for his family, and he'd pulled his crafting equipment back out to work on snares to replenish the pack's depleted stocks. Spring was a good time to hunt, but with the pack still in recovery he didn't want to push anyone too quickly and wouldn't ask them to do a group hunt to take down anything large, so he was concentrating on small game snares. He had it in mind to set up some drowning snares over in the estuary, both for ducks and for beaver, so he settled outside in the blessed, blessed sunshine with the supplies he needed and began to work on them.
