Bane dipped his muzzle to look at Tahlia closely when she lowered her head, his sapphire eyes reflecting concerned amusement. The she-wolf brought her eyes up to his and Bane looked away sheepishly as she began to speak with a smile. Tahlia would like for him to surprise her? That answer surprised him if anything.
