Théa’s ears flickered backward as she heard the briars shifting and the thud of heavy pawsteps. She tried to turn her head to see who was approaching, but the thorns tugged at the soft and sensitive fur along her face making her wince. A feminine voice spoke, her accent interesting and different from what she was used to and the woman wished even more that she could turn to see her. A wry smile lifted the corner of her lips and she stood still, ”I zink it ez a special skill I ‘ave. Ze briars are not as fun as zey seemed to be,” she replied. “Are you here to save me, mon chevalier? She really hoped she was, she didn’t quite feel like being stuck there for the rest of her life.
