Slippery, Slithery, Sneaky Snake
Chade & Cerberus

With the loss of his mother he had been turning to a new direction other than where he belonged inside the pack. He enjoyed being along side his half siblings when they were all together at night, but he just had this yearning to be alone. Thinking that Chimera would be unaware of him sneaking off, he did so. He wasn't thinking of consequences and if the thought was there, he didn't really care.
The walk away from the ferry was sombersome, and while he wasn't really thinking of his mother or how she died, it was just a whole theme inside his brain. He was warmed by the presence of the rest of his family, but ruined by the recent events. The voices in his head told him it was his fault, he knew better than that.
He heard near cries close by, and didn't really hurry to get to them. But through interest he watched through the brush as two young males were face to face with a giant snake. He had never seen one before and one this size was quite alarming. He questioned if he should even help, and in the end he found his paws forward still not in a rush as he started poking at the slithery beasts tail. At least maybe that would get it's attention enough to make it back away from the others. They at least all seemed capable of running off.
