Physical Description:
From birth, it will be easy to tell this boy is his mother’s son. He’s built as she is, elven and wraithlike, bordering on the otherworldly finery. Though not sickly, through his gangly youth this boy will need to eat like an absolute champ to prevent looking bony. Though Ivy and Lotus are twins, Ivy is far shorter and far lighter. At the shoulder, Ivy stands a respectable 34 inches.

His coat is the rich blue-black, blue-grey of the night’s sky in winter. Ivy is countershaded, his underside more blue and a bit paler. Through his back and sides, he wears a coat of many colors, white, pale grey and blue, sweeping across. The tip of his tail is pale, and he wears a paler mask. Ivy’s toes are also dipped in trouble grey. On his face, there’s a mask that echoes his other markings in color, and chases up to his ear on one side. His eyes are a brilliant, icy blue.

Personality:
Ivy matches Lotus in curiosity and ambition, and the pair are both no stranger to trouble. Always in the thick of things, it will be a learning curve for Ivy when he realizes that his physical limitations are different. His frame lighter, he’ll still make an attempt at being a skilled fighter through his early years. It will be the first serious injury that really shows him he can’t, it’s too dangerous for him to throw himself into fights like his larger siblings. While capable of defending himself, Ivy’s true greatness will never be as a combatant.

This will throw him into a depression of sorts, and likely an identity crisis to boot. From an extremely young age, he’ll show prowess when it comes to patching Lotus up after his fights with predators, prey, and other wolves. That’s something he can take pride in, and that realization and pride will be a bit of a rebirth for him. This doesn’t make him any less ambitious, any less driven, but it will make him different.

It will take Ivy time, but he’ll learn to look before he leaps. Using his head will start to become intuitive. In a way, Ivy will be Lotus’s keeper, and Lotus will be Ivy’s. The brains to his brother’s brawn, they will strike a balance that just works.
